Raphinha has extended his Barcelona contract to 30 June 2030, tying the captain to the club for another three and a half seasons.
Raphinha has signed a new Barcelona contract that keeps him at the club until 30 June 2030. The club confirmed the extension on 5 November, giving the Brazil international a longer commitment after a productive start to the 2026/27 season.
A long-term commitment from both sides
Barcelona said the agreement extends the contract of Raphael Dias Belloli, known as Raphinha, through the end of the 2029/30 campaign. The player said he felt proud to continue and hoped to perform for the club for many more years.
The renewal follows his rise into a leadership role at Barça. The club identifies him as captain and says he has made 190 appearances and scored 94 goals since joining in 2022. Those totals put the extension in the context of a player who has become central to the team, rather than a routine contract update.
Raphinha’s role has evolved
Raphinha said he has adapted to playing centrally as well as from the wing, and that he is willing to take on the role the team needs. He also acknowledged that he was not yet at full fitness while reassuring supporters that he was taking care of himself.
Barcelona reported that he had scored 19 goals in the opening stage of the 2026/27 season, including 15 in La Liga and four in the Champions League. The figures are club-reported and reflect the form that has strengthened the case for a longer deal.
What the deal says about Barcelona’s plans
The new term gives Barcelona continuity with one of its senior attacking players as the club works through a demanding campaign. It also gives Raphinha a clear horizon: he has publicly said he wants to keep winning in the shirt and remain part of the project.
The contract is confirmed. Its financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
